OUR VISION
Tidewater Classical Academy is a ministry of Green Run Baptist Church. Our vision is to assist parents as they fulfill their commission to "bring up [their children] in the discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4 (ESV)). TCA continues to add one grade per year, realizing in 2021 high school classes with ninth-grade students. We will continue growing until achieving our goal of becoming a full PreK-12 classical Christian school.
TCA employs a unique educational approach, offering half-day classes with a full-day curriculum. Our vision is to combine the best parts of a standard classical Christian School with the individual attention provided by homeschooling.
OUR LEADERSHIP AND STAFF
The school is managed by an executive school board, made up of members of various local churches (under the oversight of GRBC's Elder Council).
