1. What God requires for our greatest joy is possible because of our life in Christ.

2. Being alive in Christ produces a life of progressive growth in godliness (Colossians 3:1-17).

a. Those who are alive in Christ live for something that transcends “death in Adam.”

b. Those who are alive in Christ love what Christ loves.

c. Those who are alive in Christ embrace death with Christ.

d. Those who are alive in Christ live in light of Christ’s certain return.

e. Those who are alive in Christ pursue holiness in every sphere of life.
