10:00am The weekly gathering for worship We will begin our corporate time together promptly at 10:00am. The first half of our worship gathering is directed towards the public reading of Scripture, celebration and proclamation through singing, solemn times of confession, and the regular celebration of the Lord’s Supper. The second half of our worship gathering is directed towards the expositional preaching of the Scriptures. Click here for some frequently asked questions concerning the worship gathering. Our church is joyfully serious about our responsibility to promote generational faithfulness from fathers and mothers to their children. Therefore, we encourage and enjoy family togetherness for worship. Every age child is welcome to remain with his or her family throughout the entire worship gathering. This means that you may at times experience some “noise” coming from our little ones. We do not see this as a hindrance to worship, but rather an indication that a new generation of worshipers are being trained up. If needed, we do provide care for crawlers and walkers up to age 3 during the entire worship gathering as well as an overflow area and nursing mothers room. Four and five year olds join their parents for the worship time and are then dismissed upstairs to their own Bible class during the sermon. Please pick up your children promptly after the worship gathering concludes so that your family and our teachers may join us for our weekly fellowship meal in the fellowship hall.
Our weekly gathering will normally end by 11:30am. Each Sunday, we encourage you to join us for a fellowship meal in the fellowship hall immediately following the service. We see value in this time of enjoying edifying conversation and showing hospitality to our guests. Please plan to make this a regular part of your celebration of the Lord's Day. 11:30pm – 12:30pm Children’s Ministry Children ages 6 - 11 may attend our Kid’s Bible Classes during the fellowship meal. These classes help supplement the parents' discipleship of their children by teaching biblical truths about God and redemption in a systematic, age-appropriate approach. Children will eat upstairs in their classrooms. |
