In May of 2006, Dr. Don Whitney addressed GRBC concerning Responding Biblically to the Increasing Pace and Complexity of Life. Dr. Whitney has been Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY since 2005. Before that he held a similar position at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri for ten years.

On Saturday, May 20, Don Whitney taught on the Lord's antidotes to the overwhelming pressures of our fast paced lives—the refreshing observance of the Lord's Day and the riches of Christian community. In our weekly Lord’s Day gathering, Dr. Whitney preached from Matthew 25:41 on the doctrine of hell.
