The Family Integrated Church
Speaker: Voddie Baucham
Date: December 3-4, 2005
According to recent statistics, the children who grow up in evangelical churches leave those churches at an alarming rate by the time
they are sophomores in college. This trend even appears to be true of churches with very refined children and youth ministries. The
strategies of the past decades: age-segregated ministries, large youth groups and innovative children’s church productions appear to
betray the very purpose for which they were designed.
In our 2005 Family Integrated Church Conference, Dr. Voddie Baucham encourages us to promote multigenerational faithfulness through
family worship, family integrated churches and biblical models for education, discipleship and discipline.
Dr. Baucham has been called an “evangelist to intellectuals.” He is an author, Bible teacher, churchman and an apologist. His unique
blend of sound biblical exposition and cutting-edge relevance make him one of the most unique and compelling voices in modern
evangelical circles. He has rapidly become one of the most sought-after preachers of his generation. He has authored two books,
academic journals, and magazine articles. Voddie and his wife Bridget have been married since 1989 and their family currently lives
in Spring, Texas.
