This church exists
as a biblical community
united together in hope and truth
making known the glory of God
to the world.

"Biblical community"

We strive in every way to be a church that governs itself according to Scripture. The Word of God is our final authority in matters of conduct, leadership, teaching, decision-making, and ministry.

"United together in hope and truth"

What unites us together in fellowship and brotherly love is our belief that Jesus Christ is our only hope for salvation, that this salvation comes by grace alone through faith alone, that God has shone His truth through scripture in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ, and our ultimate redemption and glory as His children.

"Making known the glory of God"

According to Isaiah 43:7 we were created to glorify God with our lives.  Everything we do corporately and individually must have this one thing as it’s ultimate goal: to show the beauty, worth, and greatness of God!

"To all the world."

God is calling for Himself a people from every nation and people group on the earth.  He has called us to go and make Him known in every corner of the earth so that there will be “a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…” Revelation 7:9

These Values are guiding principles that the Elders have prayerfully and diligently set forth to help the church prioritize, plan and function in a way that fulfills its purpose.

  • To make the preaching and teaching of God’s Word accurate, understandable, and applicable to those who hear it, knowing that it is the Holy Spirit who must awaken a love and understanding of truth in the heart.

  • To make prayer the joyous and necessary means by which we recognize God’s glory, acknowledge His goodness and favor, lift up one another in love, and seek the salvation of the lost.

  • To give appropriate time and energy to the personal study and meditation of God’s Word knowing that we are "constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which [we] have been following (1 Timothy 4:6), and that "all scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).

  • To be intentional in sharing genuine fellowship with other believers through Christ-like love, honest speech, spiritually nurturing time together and bearing one another’s burdens.

  • To establish God-honoring marriages and families who will  display the beauty of Christ’s relationship with the Church and bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

  • To find the fulfillment of our pleasures and desires in Christ rather than in material or selfish gain and seek to faithfully and consistently communicate the good news of Christ to others that they, too, may experience the joy of knowing Him.

  • To unite together in worship that is grounded in truth as revealed in Scripture either to express or awaken genuine, heart-felt satisfaction in all that God is for us in Christ so that the body may be mutually edified and the unbelievers among us may be evangelized.

  • To magnify the mercy and grace of God throughout the world by compassionate help of the poor and defenseless in society, by generous giving to local and foreign missionary efforts, and by raising up, sending out, and supporting missionaries from this church body to unreached peoples.
