Discipleship and Growth

In addition to our Sunday gatherings, GRBC provides other means by which we can be a community of believers growing together in wisdom, holiness and love. This growth may take the form of many different kinds of fruit, but it is all for the glory of the One who makes all things grow [1 Cor.3:6-7].

Community Groups
Community groups are small groups of people who meet together twice a month for Bible study, prayer, encouragement and fellowship. These groups meet in homes at various times throughout the week. Check the church calendar for more specific information on the groups currently meeting. If you would like to participate in a particular group, contact the group leader for directions and times.

Cornerstone Bible Study
GRBC has been blessed with many older saints who provide us with a strong foundation of faith and wisdom that is the fruit of many years of faithful commitment to Christ. The Cornerstone class provides them with a place to fellowship together around the Scriptures each week. They meet every Sunday morning at the church from 8:30am-9:45am. If you have any questions please contact Elder Bill Kenney who provides pastoral oversight of this ministry.

GRBC Bible Institute
It is our desire that this local church provide training and resources through courses designed for both lay people and church leaders for the purpose of cultivating a deeper understanding of God through His Word. A great place to start in your own discipleship and growth is with our entry level class below:

• The Gospel Class [Sunday mornings, 8:30am-9:30am] Taught by Roy Ammons
  This class is designed to help those seeking to know more about the Christian faith, those who are relatively new to the faith, and those who may still need a good understanding of the basics of Christianity. Contact Roy Ammons for more information.
