Purpose:

It is our desire that this local church provide training and resources through courses designed for both lay people and church leaders for the purpose of cultivating a deeper understanding of "God the Creator and His creation primarily through the lens of God's special revelation, the Holy Scriptures, and secondarily through God's natural revelation in creation as interpreted by human reason and reconciled by and with Scripture, for the purpose of believing and behaving in accord with God's will, and therby, glorifying God with one's mind and life, both now and in eternity."

Institute Levels:

Each course will be placed under one of the following general levels to help clarify their overall content and purpose.

Entry Level: Courses are designed to help those seeking to know more about the Christian faith, those who are relatively new to the faith, or those interested in becoming members of this local church.

General Level: Courses are designed to help any believer grow in their spiritual understanding and provide a solid foundation for further learning..

Leadership and Ministry Level: Courses are designed for those who want to receive training in specific areas of the Christian life and spiritual leadership in order to better utilize their gifts and opportunities in serving others.

Elder / Pastoral Level: Courses are designed for those who, through spiritual maturity and the use of gifts, display the potential for pastoral ministry in the church and seek to gain the necessary training for such leadership.

Study Plans:

For those interested in certain areas of training or ministry, there are specific study plans available to guide them in their studies. These plans will provide guidance as to which courses should be taken based upon the deisred goal. Click here to view our recommended Study Plans.

Each seminar is open to any GRBC covenant member, regular attender, or outside guest interested in attending. There will be assigned reading on a regular basis, class discussion, and a brief writing assignment at the completion of the course.
